0.1.14 · October 15, 2026 (Windows) · October 17, 2026 (Mac and Linux beta)
Simpler translation controls, a guided first lesson and steadier shortcuts on Windows, plus the first public beta packages for Mac and Linux.
- Ordinary dictation now keeps the language you spoke, with its own choice to clean up the text or not. The translation shortcut always translates, has its own cleanup setting and uses the same target language.
- A guided getting-started lesson with a separate practice area, so trying SayDart does not type into your other apps. Lesson progress is saved to your account.
- Windows shortcut and navigation fixes, including more dependable shortcut recovery.
- Steadier lowering of other apps’ sound while you record.
- Reliability fixes for the assistant.
- Mac and Linux public beta (October 17): .dmg packages for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs (macOS 14.2 or later; ad-hoc signed, not notarized) and Linux .deb and AppImage packages for x86_64 (unsigned). Beta builds are updated by downloading and installing the new package.
0.1.13 · October 12, 2026
Improvements to preview, translation, saved results and capsule controls.
- Preview original recognized text above the capsule while recording; completed output is delivered after you stop.
- Translate ordinary dictation or start a new recording with your configured translation shortcut, with optional text cleanup.
- Translate saved original transcripts and keep earlier result versions. Replay or transcribe again when saved audio is available; copy available text if insertion failed.
- Default black and white capsule backgrounds are opaque, with existing lighting and animation. The separate glass style remains available.
- Use × to cancel during reconnection or final completion waiting, stop retries and prevent a late result from being inserted.
- Choose from 16 desktop interface language options, separately from recognition and translation settings.
0.1.12 · October 7, 2026
New output choices, original-text preview and saved result versions.
- Choose original output, original translation, refined output or refined translation.
- Set a target language and an independent translation shortcut.
- Show original speech text, translate saved records and switch between saved result versions.
- Expand the transcript preview above the capsule while recognition is in progress.
- Deliver the completed result through clipboard paste; live typing followed by rewriting has been removed.
0.1.11 · October 4, 2026
English and Simplified Chinese interfaces, with manual or system language selection.
- Choose English, Simplified Chinese or Automatic on the sign-in screen or in Settings.
- Your saved manual choice takes priority. Automatic selects the first supported language in your system language list and falls back to English.
- Change the display language without changing speech recognition preferences.
- Keep the website and desktop language preferences separate.
0.1.10 · October 4, 2026
Improvements to typography, history, statistics and menu behavior.
- Restored the established Noto Sans SC interface font and JetBrains Mono code font.
- Aligned history timestamps with body text and placed each date beside its first record.
- Kept the statistics in one row, with compact K/M values and time units.
- Made settings selection consistent with the rest of the sidebar.
- Improved outside-click dismissal for affected menus and dialogs.
- Reduced history-count flicker and recovered deferred refreshes and failed event subscriptions.
