SayDart help: microphone, hotkey and missing-text fixes.

Find help for missing audio, failed processing or text that did not appear.

The microphone is not recording

Allow microphone access in your system settings, select the right device in SayDart and check its input level. For a headset, select its microphone. Try a short recording after changes.

The shortcut does not start voice input

Check your shortcuts on the Home screen. Voice input defaults to Right Alt on Windows, Right Option on Mac and Left Ctrl + Left Alt + Space on Linux; the assistant defaults to Right Alt + Space, Right Option + Space and Left Ctrl + Left Alt + A. Change any combination that conflicts with another app.

Recognition worked, but no text appeared

Check that the intended field has focus and accepts typing. If automatic insertion is blocked, paste the result manually or recover a saved result from History.

The words are not what I meant

Check noise, microphone position and speech language. Add recurring names and terms to your dictionary, and correct names, numbers and mid-sentence changes in the draft.

Cloud processing or account usage is unavailable

Check the error message, connection, sign-in and remaining allowance. Your account shows usage and refresh time. If the issue persists, send support your app version and the time it happened.

A payment or subscription needs attention

Verify orders and subscriptions in your account; a browser redirect does not confirm payment. For incorrect charges or access, send support your order reference and account email, never card details or passwords.

FAQ

Visit the help center
Does the current app have an English interface?

Yes. The app comes in 16 languages, including English, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, German, French and Spanish. It follows your system language, or pick one on the sign-in screen or in Settings > Appearance & app > Display language. Speech recognition languages are set separately.

Which speech languages can I choose?

Use automatic recognition, or choose up to 4 of 30 recognition languages as preferences. The app loads the available language choices from the service.

Why did my old voice records disappear?

Voice history keeps 50 records by default, and you can change that limit. Older records may be removed when the limit is reached. History is stored on your computer, not backed up to the cloud.

Does uninstalling cancel my subscription?

No. Manage and cancel future renewal in your account. Uninstalling the app or signing out does not cancel billing.

Talk, don't type.

Up to 4x faster than typing. Windows, Mac and Linux. Free every 7 days.
